Booz & Company has an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Finance Applications Developer with experience in ColdFusion and Oracle for the Firm's Technology Service department.  

Key Role:

Apply well developed expertise in application development in ColdFusion.  Part of a global application development team with involvement of full cycle development.  Responsible for ongoing enhancements and maintenance efforts for financial applications.  This role offers room for career growth.  This person will work in a team environment with the ability to work independently via telecommuting on projects.  Majority of the time the postion is virtual / telecommute and one day a week in the McLean, VA office.

 Qualifications

    Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in CS or related Field
• Cold Fusion Development (3 years)
• Oracle Database experience (2 years)
• Experience in complete project life cycle of application development (5 years)
• Ability to work via telecommuting 80% and at the office 20% (in McLean, VA office one day a week)

 Additional qualifications:

• ColdFusion 7 or 8
• Preferable experience with financial applications
• Experience with a formal methodology and/or PMI processes
• Preferable experience with other developing languages (C++ and Java)
• Preferable experience other relational databases
• Preferable past experience at a Professional Service organization
• Ability to work independently on projects
• Ability to work in team environment
• Strong oral, written communication skills and the ability to partner with customers
